Hi! I’m Sylvia, a tech professional. I’m the CEO of ReturnBear, a reverse logistics company with a mission to reduce waste in ecommerce return logistics. I also run my own brand of cancer care boxes called Amidira (I’m a cancer survivor). I’m formerly the GM of Shopify’s Start product line, where I tackled the problem of creating more entrepreneurs in the world through education, community, and tooling. Before that I was the VP of Product & Growth at 500px, one of the world’s largest photography platforms backed by A16z. And before that? I’ve held past roles at Google, eBay, OANDA, and ScribbleLive.

I started my career in data which led to doing growth and product work and me getting my Masters in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University. This blog started out as me sharing my thoughts on growth and product, but cancer hit, and over time it’s just become my talks and podcasts, plus my musings on women in tech.
